At about 10 o'clock in the morning the phone rang on the CEO's desk. His sister announced her promotion as Chief Corporate Counsel of another firm. Her brother complimented her reluctantly. They shared a few comments, and then she said, "I want to call Mom and Dad." Her brother stared out the window after the conversation thinking how he could get one-up on his sister. There is a universal law going round the web which states:

If you think what you want you get what you want. If you think what you don't want you get what you don't want.

Watching an exciting movie in the evening is a favored way for many people to relax after a long day of work. They look forward to getting home, having dinner and then sitting down to be entertained. After hours of watching television, they decide to turn in for the night and instead of falling fast asleep, they spend the next several hours rolling around in their bed, suffering from insomnia.

Whenever a motivational speaker, or self-help book, as well as any other related materials tell you that you should find yourself a mentor to follow and inspire you, remember that the greatest mentor of all is you.

The others that you have read about will soon fade into your memory, but you will never fade. You’re the only one that you can count on when no one else is around. This is especially true when you’re down and out, because of the law of attraction. Nobody ever wants to be around...

You’ll often hear don Miguel Ruiz, author of “The Four Agreements,” saying that our emotions are the key to our personal freedom. Wise words! You might be asking why our emotions are so important to our freedom. I’ve observed in my many years of teaching, how often folks don’t acknowledge what they’re feeling emotionally. When I ask them how they’re feeling they say, “Things are fine,” or “The usual.” Yet, when you ask them if they got upset or frustrated today, they’ll say, “Well yes, this m...

Mistakes have gotten a really bad rap. Whether you call it an error, a blunder, a screw-up, a faux pas, a gaffe or a boo-boo, no one wants to be guilty of committing one.

The fear of not performing "up to snuff" leads many people to procrastinate or even worse, never to act at all. For many, this has become a major debilitating problem.

Besides the obvious lack of productivity and the numerous aborted projects, this pathological postponement of duties leads to:

In life we get what we ask for.

Now you surely say that it isn’t true. You say you ask for freedom and happiness and all you got was feeling imprisoned and bad.

Let’s have a closer look to how creation works and how our subconscious mind works. Because it’s the same.

Everything that exists is created in someone’s mind. Everything starts with a thought. A thought is an energy. Energy wants to manifest itself. A lot of thoughts in the same direction will, that’s for sure, manifest i...

If I ask you what you want out of life, your first answer will probably have something to do with money -- lots of it. You want to win big at the casino. You want to hit the lottery when the jackpot is at $200,000,000. You want big money! Right?
