In the olden days, the sun and gold and god and prosperity were all tied up together. They were also mostly considered to be the domain of men and many amongst us who are not of that gender still carry a residual notion that this might not be for "our kind", simply by the virtue of overwhelming experience of so many generations for a hundred thousand years.

Fact is though that the sun is a powerful prosperity and wealth symbol, perhaps the most powerful of them all - and it shines on EVER...

One point many Christian Working Moms who have been interviewed have made is that they are a shining light in their work place. Whether or not you can speak openly about your faith at work, your co-workers are watching. Are they seeing Jesus in you? Do they see you handle ethical issues in a different manner than other co-workers? Do they see a peace in you amidst all of the stress of the job? Do they see your priorities are in order? Although, we are to be workers worthy of our hire we are ...

On one of her quarterly visits to see her grandson, my three-year-old son, my mother ignores the available front seat of the car, crowds into the back next to the car seat and promptly unwraps a lollipop. Feeling the tension rising, I recall the numerous conversations where I so proudly tell my mother how I keep sugar away from my son. “Mom, what are you doing? Haven’t you heard a word I said?” And so it starts. The struggle of being an adult with my parent.

So much is written today...

We now know that premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is experienced by 60% of all women. What causes PMS has been difficult for researchers to pin down because each woman experiences symptoms differently.

PMS Symptoms

When making the diagnosis, the most important tool you can use is a chart of the cyclic nature in which they occur. If nothing is done to interrupt PMS, it often gets worse over time. You may begin by having symptoms just a few days before your period that stop abruptly as soon...

Sometimes we get divided over having a career and having a families or find conflict between the different jobs that we try to do. Making the question “Who am I?” even harder to answer.

It grows harder because mothers see this little person that looks up at them with innocent trusting eyes, mommy is everything to that little one...

Yes, it is true, you are beautiful beyond any doubt.

Do you know that you are a unique person with a special kind of God gifted beauty which no other person possess. That beauty is something very personal and individual. You must acknowledge that “hidden” beauty within you to know your own worth as a beautiful person.

We all want to feel loved, open, free and peaceful. We all desire to let go of the ideals and expectations of the “world” and be simply still. What if you had permission to be anything your heart wanted you to be? What if there was no right or wrong way of doing yoga poses, just simply YOUR way. The way that feels good for your body, mind and spirit. That is yoga to me.

There’s a smorgasbord of yoga labels all around us. Each having its own fancy term or cool yoga gear. It’s a bummer ...

Last week at this time we were on the home stretch to Christmas Eve and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Only days later, we are packing away the last vestiges of another almost-spent year. That's a pretty optimistic statement, isn't it? But yes, in my opinion, this cream does work and no I'm not an agent or in any way tied to the manufacturer financially, but as a fitness and health consultant I am always looking for any "edge" to help my clients, and this product fits that criteria.

Fortunately, for those of us who are decorating challenged, the world’s biggest decorating mistake is easily fixable.

Have you ever walked into a home with beautiful furniture, but still something was missing? Usually it’s the artwork. People always forget the artwork, or if they do remember the art they buy only one piece for over the sofa. Some of the wealthiest people I know do not buy any or enough artwork!

A room isn’t finished without nice framed art prints. It’s kind of like...
